What does it cost?

Consultation - Free

Your 15-minute consultation is free. During this time, our Care Coordinators will help assess your needs and match you with a Joon therapist.

Intake - $150

Once you decide to move forward with us, your initial 50-minute intake session costs $150. During this time, your therapist will get to know you better and work with you to identify your personal treatment goals.

Starting your Joon therapy

Joon Care offers new clients two 16-week subscription options - Joon therapy and Joon therapy+. With Joon therapy, clients meet with their therapist once a week, and with Joon therapy+, clients meet with their therapist twice a week. All clients receive a Joon Care Roadmap that details their personalized treatment plan for the 16-week subscription.

16-week treatment for clients presenting with mild to clinical symptoms. Most Joon clients start here.

Meet with your therapist once a week

Joon therapy+

$1,100/Every 4 weeks

16-week treatment for clients presenting with severe symptoms, and needing more frequent interventions.

Meet with your therapist twice a week

All of Joon's subscriptions include:

  • A dedicated therapist
  • Access to skills practices and self-care resources via the Joon App
  • Optional parent check-ins
  • A personalized roadmap detailing your therapy plan
  • Collaboration with your primary care provider (if needed)

In an effort to make therapy more affordable for families, in certain cases, we are able to offer a sliding fee scale. As appropriate, our team would be happy to discuss this during your initial consultation.

Renewing your Joon therapy

Upon completion of your first 16 weeks of therapy, clients may renew their existing subscription. In addition to the 2 subscription options offered above during sign up, renewal clients will have a 3rd option with reduced therapy sessions that costs $300/Every 4 weeks. This plan is only offered to renewal clients and is for those showing enough improvement to not need weekly interventions. When your subscription is coming to an end, your therapist will help you determine whether continuing therapy is recommended, and which subscription to choose.


Will my insurance cover therapy?

Many Joon Care clients receive out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider. Please let your Care Coordinator know if you plan to submit your invoices for reimbursement. Our team will provide you with an itemized statement, sometimes called a “super bill,” including billing codes and any additional information required for reimbursement upon completion of prepaid sessions. However, we cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider.
