Co-Founder & Chief Clinical Officer
Amy Mezulis, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her BA from Harvard University and her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Mezulis provides services to older children, adolescents and adults utilizing an evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral approach that includes mindfulness and acceptance-based treatments.
Anna is a full-stack engineer who received her BS in Computer Science at University of Wisconsin - Madison. Following college, Anna worked as an engineer at Amazon for almost 2 years. In her free time she finds joy in trying anything new, staying active outside, playing music, baking, and building meaningful connection.
Chris leads marketing and growth at Joon Care. He is spearheading expansion to new states to make Joon's services available to teens and young adults nation wide. Outside of Joon, Chris loves playing guitar, volleyball, and being outdoors.
Director of Clinical Care
Jessica Carlile, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and a Director of Clinical Care at Joon, specializing in trauma, health and rehabilitation psychology, and telepsychology. She provides evidence-based therapy to adolescents and adults, approaching clinical work primarily from a cognitive behavioral and systems-based orientation.

Josh Herst is a baseball dad, outdoor enthusiast, history reader, science believer, and social entrepreneur. Josh has over 20 years of business and product leadership experience at Microsoft, Expedia and multiple startups including as CEO of Walk Score. Most recently Josh was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Pioneer Square Labs.
Director of Clinical Care
Katey Nicolai, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Dr. Nicolai provides services to adolescents and adults using evidence-based treatment rooted in cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, interpersonal therapy, and family systems.
Michelle Kuhn, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her BA from The George Washington University and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Dr. Kuhn provides services to children, adolescents, and their families, utilizing evidence-based behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
